Meet Sarah Kemp,
LPC, Supervisor, Chief Executive Officer,
& Business Strategist
Sarah Kemp, LPC, is a PhD Candidate, Licensed Professional Counselor, and CEO of All Points North Counseling Services, now partnering with Kemp Psychological Services. Her work centers on ethical, sustainable mental health care and the development of systems that support both client outcomes and clinician wellbeing.
With experience spanning clinical practice, organizational leadership, and research, Sarah brings clarity, depth, and strategic direction to the work she leads. Her doctoral research focuses on clinician burnout and the long-term consequences of behavioral health systems that overextend, underpay, and exploit early-career clinicians who often enter the profession without adequate support or protection.
Sarah specializes in working with high-functioning adults navigating complex trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, and major personal or professional transitions. Her clinical style is direct, insightful, and deeply compassionate. She is known for speaking with honesty and precision, often using humor to create space for difficult but meaningful conversations.
Her therapeutic approach blends evidence-based care with strong clinical insight, authenticity, and accountability. She helps clients move beyond survival patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and build lives rooted in emotional clarity, resilience, and long-term growth.
As Clinical Director and executive leader at APNC, Sarah has helped shape a practice culture grounded in clinical stewardship, ethical care, meaningful supervision, and provider sustainability. She also serves as Board President of the Kemp Foundation for Clinical Stewardship, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit dedicated to advancing reflective practice, clinician development, and responsible behavioral health leadership.
Whether in the therapy room, through leadership, or in research, Sarah brings strength, warmth, and a clear commitment to improving the future of mental health care for both clients and clinicians.

Sarah's Journey
With extensive experience in both clinical mental health and business operations, Sarah Kemp, LPC, brings a rare combination of therapeutic depth, strategic thinking, and fierce compassion to her role as Co-Founder of All Points North Counseling Services. She specializes in working with high-achieving adults, professionals, and executives facing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, complex trauma, chronic pain, and high-pressure career or leadership demands.
Sarah's Approach
Sarah’s therapeutic approach is direct, insightful, and deeply relational. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients shift thought and behavior patterns, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance emotion regulation, self-awareness, and interpersonal effectiveness. Her work also features Socratic questioning—the use of targeted, curious, and clarifying dialogue to build insight—as well as thoughtful confrontation, helping clients recognize and transform patterns with clarity, warmth, and humor. She is especially attuned to the hidden effects of unresolved trauma and how it shapes decision-making, relationships, and leadership style. Sarah supports clients in building clarity, emotional resilience, and stronger alignment between their internal experiences and external lives—empowering long-term growth, not just short-term symptom relief. Sarah is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology, with research focused on early intervention in mood and personality disorders—reinforcing her commitment to proactive, evidence-based, and developmentally attuned care. Her academic work deepens her clinical insight into complex cases and informs her precision-oriented approach. With a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a background in psychology, Sarah brings both scientific rigor and authentic human connection to every session. Whether she’s providing individual therapy, mentoring clinicians, or guiding strategic initiatives at APNC, she leads with vision, integrity, and a strong belief in meaningful, lasting change.
