A Note from Alicia
My path to therapy was shaped by working alongside individuals and families during some of their most challenging moments. Through extensive community-based and mobile crisis work, I learned the importance of staying grounded, listening deeply, and responding with care that honors both immediate needs and long-term growth. These experiences reinforced my belief that everyone deserves to feel respected, understood, and supported, especially within systems that may not always feel inclusive or accessible. I approach therapy from a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed perspective. I view therapy as a collaborative partnership, where we work together to build skills, foster self-awareness, and support choices that align with your values and goals. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT and DBT skills with practical strategies for emotional regulation, coping, and daily functioning, always tailoring our work to your unique needs. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in respect. You can expect a warm, structured, and non-judgmental space where you are encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to “fix” yourself... our work is about increasing understanding, building confidence, and helping you feel capable of navigating life’s challenges with greater ease.
